During the preconstruction phase, a strategic plan is created and put in place. This plan needs to cover every element of the project ahead and include:
5-10 years is the general longevity of properly applied paint for both interior and exterior walls. This will depend on a multitude of factors, such as the material being painted, exposure to weather, the type of paint, and a multitude of other scenarios.
There is no limit! As long as your paint is still in good condition, you can repaint many layers. However, if your paint has started to peel or chip, those areas will need to be scraped, pressure washed, or sanded before painting to increase longevity.
We suggest that you install your flooring first. Installation of flooring can scratch the paint, causing you to need touchups. Avoiding the damage will help you avoid unnecessary extra costs.
