During the preconstruction phase, a strategic plan is created and put in place. This plan needs to cover every element of the project ahead and include:
The timing varies widely based on a cumulation of factors. We find that on average a full remodel takes around 6 weeks. The availability of specific countertops, flooring, backsplash, and cabinetry tends to be the biggest delay. If selections are readily available locally we can typically speed things along. If the scope of your project is smaller, such as just flooring and cabinetry updates, that can be done at your availability. Our pros will be able to let you know what timeframe to expect after discussing your vision.
Grab a microwave, air fryer, bbq grill, Foreman, and maybe a mini fridge and you’ll be good to go. Depending on your remodel it’s likely that power will be cut off to the kitchen spontaneously during working hours. If you have other accommodations, that might be more comfortable for you. But most of our clients ride out the remodel in a different area of the house and we can accommodate.
